The hotel was ideal for us as a couple, with everything we expected. The rooms, though plain with faded fabrics and basic carpets, had just enough space. The service was friendly and the hotel had a 'grand' feeling. The location was outstanding, very close to Chester city center but with a countryside feel. The dining experience was nice but a bit slow. The facilities were well-maintained and family-friendly.

The rooms, while pleasant and spacious with a great bathroom, had some maintenance issues. The service was excellent with attentive and helpful staff, eagerly awaiting the pool area update. The dining experience, although nice with freshly cooked options, had room for improvement. The gardens and friendly staff added to the charm of the location.
The hotel offers a nice garden view from the balcony but lacks cleanliness, with garments found in drawers and empty toiletries in the bathroom. The room was uncomfortably warm for sleeping, and there was a presence of mold in the shower.
